Simplicity.

Simply put…

I have good people in my life.

I enjoy being able to say this and being able to relish in the fact that I know and appreciate this.  Sure, we all have our ‘moments’ but hands down the good of my friends and family trump those inevitable ’moments.’

Someone made me smile last night and an unselfish smile at that!  Now smiles are great but smiling for unselfish reasons are even better.  When you know something has or is going to happen that does not directly affect you but someone else in a good way… thats an unselfish smile. Also knowing you have a friend that is doing something ‘just because’…. to bring a smile to another persons face…. fabulous!

I have had my share of down right shitty happenings so it’s realizations like this that I truly love and desperately need these days. In speaking with a friend today they told me essentially that I am quick to forgive and in all of this chaos of my life maybe God has put the hurt there intentionally. For from this hurt I will be reminded to treat others well. This friend also gave me a thought to maybe write a kind note or do something on the special side for someone who has really been there for me. For me this has been not one, but many people. As I said…I have wonderful friends and family!!

So I sincerely say thank you to everyone who has been there for me at one time or another. If I do not say it enough I appreciate the hell out of you!! I really do have an awesome group of friends and family!

{we do not remember days; we remember moments}

{love loudly}

About brandylpeterson

a million things make me who I am but just a few of them touch my core. 1. First and foremost, I am a mother to the most beautiful little girl who amazes me and tests me daily. I also coach her soccer team and love all of my little girls. 2. I Love hard and break even harder...but getting into my heart for that Love is the tricky part. 3. I reserve my full self for those who show they are worth the effort. 4. I believe everything happens for a reason and if it is meant to be then it will be. 5. I love the word kismet.
