This post really blessed me..my brother Stephen (I think you know him from the gym) shared this with me. Life choices have resulted in some painful experiences for me, and I am still in the throes of a difficult divorce. I know the Lord loves me and will provide grace to walk through these circumstances, but it is often a challenge to remember that my experiences only shape me, they don’t DEFINE me.

Yes! We love Stephen at the gym. He is a wonderful motivator! I am completely humbled knowing my words have become of use to someone else. I have also had some very trying times since 2009 and also some that I can only look back on and smile. Its amazing though how easy it is to forget the good ones and how it is so unbelievably hard to forget and let go of the hurtful ones. I try to keep a reminder near me every day that there is a reason I have been sent down the path I am currently on. The hardest part is waiting to see why…
